TOP OF THE LAKE GUIDING - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking with us. Where the client wishes to postpone an experience due to unforeseen circumstances, or where Top Of The Lake Guiding has to postpone an experience for unforeseen circumstances, then the deposit monies paid will be credited towards the booking of a suitable new date within 24 months of the original experience. Any price increases in the particular experience chosen from that of the original date of the deposit, the difference will be at the client’s expense. Top Of The Lake Guiding reserves the right to review any cancellations or postponements on a case-by-case basis and make amendments to this policy accordingly. Any amendments are to be confirmed in writing by Top Of The Lake Guiding.
Full payment will be required 7 days prior to your trip unless other arrangements have been made with us. Your Guide has the right to reschedule at any time due unforeseen circumstances such as poor weather conditions. Please note that cancellations due to weather are at the Guides discretion only. If an alternative date cannot be agreed between both parties then a full refund will be given.
Please be aware that 100% of the package price will be charged if you wish to cut your trip short for any reason.
Keeping up with industry standards during any Hunting Excursions, injured or lost animals will be charged at full price.
Overseas travellers should check they have appropriate Travel Insurance in place prior to the trip as your Guide or Top of the Lake Guiding will not be held responsible for incidents, such as those outlined in our Health and Safety Disclosure. If your travel is disrupted due to flight cancellations etc. it is recommended to have insurance in place to cover the cost of your trip with us as we will not refund.
Payment can be made via bank transfer or cash in NZ dollars. Fees will apply with overseas bank transfers and credit card transactions.

I understand that I have been fully briefed and inducted on the areas that we are going and acknowledge that our guide has shown that he has the necessary safety equipment, emergency plan, any Covid-19 measures that may be in place and experience level for our trip.
I understand that my behaviour and conduct must not endanger any other participant on the activity. I declare that I am not under the influence of any substance that may impair my ability, such as Alcohol or Drugs of any kind.
I declare that I have no medical issues which may cause any incident to anyone including myself whilst taking part in the activity of Guided Hunting, Fishing or Nature Walk.
People with medical issues should seek professional medical advice before taking part in the activities and disclose any special needs. Any symptoms associated with Covid-19 must be declared to guide before taking part in the activity.
I agree to follow any relevant safety instructions at all times when directed. I understand that in the event of any injury or in extreme cases death, the Guide and Business will not be held responsible.
